In the summer of 2023, the story of HEVOlogica began with a chance encounter. Moritz, looking for high-quality organic olive oil during his vacation in Avola, met Leo through a mutual acquaintance. Leo comes from a family that has been rooted in agriculture for generations. His passion for high-quality organic olive oil was passed down to him from his grandfather.
A deep connection to the land
Since 2019, Leo has been cultivating a 7-hectare plot of land in Noto using organic methods, which has 600 olive trees, 400 almond trees and 30 carob trees. On this piece of land, Leo maintains the tradition and culture of Sicilian agriculture.
Sustainability meets quality - a shared vision
From the first conversations between Leo and Moritz, the idea of building something together quickly developed. The focus was on the importance of sustainable action in agriculture, combined with the goal of producing and offering high-quality products. This is how HEVOlogica’s tree sponsorship concept came about. These sponsorships actively contribute to promoting sustainability, biodiversity and culture in Sicily.
